How US ETF Overnight Trading Works

The available securities provide access to a wide range of sectors and the included ETFs are: AGG, DIA, DOG, EEM, EFA, EWA, EWJ, FXI, GLD, IJH, IWM, PSQ, QQQ, RWM, SH, SLV, SPY, TLT, UNG, USO, VTI, XLE, XLF, XLK

Overnight Trading Hours are from 8:00 pm ET to 3:30 am ET, with the first session beginning on Sunday at 8:00 pm ET and the last session ending on Friday at 3:30 am ET. All trades will be executed on the IBEOS ATS, and any trades executed between 8:00 pm and 12:00 am will carry a trade date of the following trade day.

All clients with U.S. Stock trading permission will have access to US ETF Overnight Trading on IBEOS and can take advantage of multiple order types and free overnight market data.

IBKR Clients: Log in to Request US Stock Trading Permissions

Log in to Client Portal and click the User ("Head/Shoulders" icon) > Settings menu. From the Settings page, click Trading Permissions to request US Stock trading permission.

Trading permission requests are typically approved overnight.
